Mrs. Lillie Robertson, 80, wife of Hugh Robertson, died at her home on Union street

Sunday morning at 4 o'clock after a week's illness.

She was born June 29, 1887, in Berlin township, the daughter of Chauncey and Anne 
Moon. She has spent her entire life in Ionia county. In 1922 she married Hugh 
Roberson and since then has resided in Ionia city. Mrs. Robertson was a member of 
the Berlin Center Methodist church and a member of the Frank  D. Curtis auxiliary of

the United Spanish War Veterans. She was also a former charter member of the Women 
of the Moose.

Surviving her besides her husband is one son, Allen, a student at Central Michigan 
college in Mt. Pleasant, one step-daughter, Mrs. Alice Reeder of Ionia, two sisters,

Miss Lula Moon and Miss Nina Moon of South Ionia, four brothers, Erwin of South 
Ionia, and Charles, George and Wilbur of Tremaynes Corners.

Service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Boynton funeral home 
with the Rev. E. Taber officiating. Interment will be in Balcom cemetery
