Deceased was born at Burlington, Vermont, Sept. 6th, 1886, and came to Lyons, Michigan, by state and wagon from Detroit in 1854. She married A. Byron Robinson at Lyons, August 13th, 1855, and the moved to Muir, before the village was platted, and has been a constant resident there since. She was the daughter of Lyman and Lucina Hall, niece of Burgess Hall of Lyons, and the late Frederick Hall of Ionia, both pioneers of Ionia county. Of her generation of the Halls there remain but Charles Hall, Mrs. Carrie Hall Crane, of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Marian Hall-Fowler, of Palo Alto, Calif., and Laura A. Smith of Muir. She leaves a family of four children, seven grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. She leaves a memory rich indeed in human kindness, examples of steadfast faith, adherence to lines of duty and right, and her influence is felt today, not only by her descendants, but in many communities where dwell men and women whose characters bear the lasting mould of her loving care and consolation through useful days of bereavement and need.
