Vernon H. Robinson, 71, of Orleans died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996 at his 
residence.  He was born March 25, 1925 in Howard City, the son of Frand and  
Winnifred Allen Robinson.  He retired from Extruded metals in 1987 after 35 
years.

He is survived by sisters, Marcella Belt of Grand rapids, Marguerite (Fain) 
Nickel of Belding, Ethel (Lawrence “Bud”) Powers, Donna (Russell) Baldwin of 
Orleans; and Catherine Graber of Calif.; brothers, Stanley (Doris) Robinson of 
Belding, Frank (Shirley) Robinson Jr. of Belding, Eugene (Peg) Robinson of 
Belding, and Harold Robinson of Arkansas.  He was preceded in death by his 
parents and two brothers, Richard Robinson and Jack Robinson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in 
Belding with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in Orleans 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to Helping Hands Hospice of Ionia County.
