The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 8, 1953


William J. Robinson, 82, died Wednesday night at the Ionia Rest Home where he 
had been a patient for several months.  He was born in Detroit on April 4, 
1870.  He was a rural mail carrier in Saranac for many years.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Elva Watson, Detroit; Mrs. Margaret 
Stark and Mrs. Harold, Ann Arbor, and Miss Isabella Robinson of Lansing; two 
sisters, Misses Jane and Marion Robinson, Saranac; five grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Morris funeral 
home in Saranac with the Rev. Lester B. Thomas of Greenville officiating.  
Interment will be in the Saranac cemetery.
