Doris was born June 16, 1926, in Orleans Township, to Frank and Mildred Lowe Lemke. She was raised in Belding and surrounding areas and attended Belding Area Schools. On Dec. 17, 1945, in Belding, Doris married Stanley Robinson, the love of her life for 52 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Community Church. Doris enjoyed many hobbies such as camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards, snowmobiling, crocheting, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her parents; daughter, Carol Radey of Belding; and sister-in-law, Peggy Robinson. Doris is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Cheryl Robinson of Belding; daughter and two sons-in-law, Sherry and Willard “Kirk” Kirkendall, Jim Radey, all of Belding; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Robinson; and special friends, Patty Cushman, Charlatt Miller, Jessie Anderson, Darla Willingham. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Huffman-Brigham Funeral chapel, Belding, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and Friday at the funeral home.
