Former Ionia Man Dies In New York City

B. B. Robinson Passed Away Suddenly Friday Morning; Funeral Monday at Muir.

B.B. Robinson, who was connected with the Hayes-Ionia company here for a number
of years, but who for the past few years had been in poor health, passed away
Friday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. L.A. McLouth in New York city.

Mr. Robinson with his two children, Jay and Herbert, left Muir for New York city
July 1.  Following the failure of his health and the death of his wife a number
of years ago Mr. Robinson and his two children made their home in Muir.

Mr. Robinson was born in Muir and lived in Ionia county the greater part of his
life.  For a number of years he was purchasing agent for the Hayes-Ionia company
and at one time was an accountant at the Hayes plant in Detroit.

Besides his sons and Mrs. McLouth, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. L. W.
Griffing, of Muir.

The funeral will be held in Muir Monday afternoon at 2:30 Eastern time.
