Robinson, 53, died Friday at Belding Community Hospital after a four months illness. A farmer in Orleans Township, Mr. Robinson was born in Bushnell Township, Montcalm County, September 14, 1908 the son of Harry and Sadie Robinson and has lived at his last residence 31 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was married in Belding June 5, 1929 to Helen Decker and she survives. Other survivors are three daughters, Marilyn and Gayla at home and Mrs. Duane (Elaine) Hansen who lives east of Greenville one son Richard, Portland. There are three sisters, Mrs. Don Lacy, Sheridan; Mrs. Hilldreth Phillips, Battle Creek; Mrs. Charles Bowen, Ames, Iowa; four brothers, Floyd, St. Johns; William, Lyons; Marion, Grand Rapids and Stanley, Orleans; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Gillett officiating, Russell Reeves, soloist and Mrs. Carroll Slayton, Organist. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery. Pall bearers were Dale Potter, Choral Potter, Hubert Potter, Maurice Clements, Burton Hill and Cleve Selleck.
