Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs.July 13, 1967

Services Held For Gurtha I. Robinson
Mrs. Gurtha I. Robinson, passed away at her home early Monday after a long illness.

She was a native of Odessa township and lifelong resident of the local area. She was
the daughter of John and Ella Herbert and married Der. O.J. Robinson, July 10, 1937.
They would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary Monday.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of the central methodist church and WSCS of the church.

Surviving are her husband, Dr. Otis J. Robinson; a daughter Mrs. David (Sandra)
Blain of Flint; two grandsons, a brother Bernard Herbert of Lake Odessa and a sister Mrs.
Cevilla Souders of Nashville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with
burial in lakeside cemetery. Rev. Paul Robinson and Rev. Marvin Zimmerman officiated.
