Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

OTIS "DOC" J. REED
Died Friday December 2, 1983-age 71 at Grand Rapids
He was a Veterinarian in the Lake Odessa area for 44 years.
Survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Mrs David (Sandy) Bain of Joliet, 
IlL; three grandsons, Craig, Eric and Kevin; step-children, Michael and Karen 
Livermore of Freeport, Larry and Sara Jo Cobb, Tom and Becky Livermore, Patrick 
and Mary James, Scott Livermore, all of Lake Odessa, Don and Robin Ainsworth of 
Rockford; ten step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday 1:30 at the funeral chapel with Rev. Steve 
Keller and Rev.Paul Robinson officiating.
Burial at Lakeside Cemetery.
Visitation Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 3-5 PM at the Pickens-Koops funeral 
Chapel, Lake Odessa.
