March 30, 1906 OBITUARY Grace Ann Moon was born to in Liverpool, England, Jan.1,1839 and died at her home in Odessa township, Mar. 22, 1906 being a the time of her death aged 67 years, 2 mos and 21 days. At the age of 5 years she moved with her parents to Reach, Ont., in which vicinity she lived her girlhood days. She was united in marriage to William Robinson at Mariposa, Victoria county, Ont., April 12, 1858, and for 48 years has shared her joys and sorrows and faithfully discharged the responsible duties of wife and mother. Mr and Mrs Robinson came to Odessa in 1863m settling in the home where they have since lived, and from which she went to the father's house above. Eight children blessed their home only three of whom are living, a large share of bereavement and sorrow surely for one home. The surviving children are David of Spring Lake, New Jersey, and John and George of Odessa. Mrs. Robinson was connected at the age of 16 with the Bible Christian church in Canada and on coming to Odessa united with the Berlin Center Methodist Episcopal church. She joined the class of the South Berlin M.E. Church when the society was formed, and has been a faithful helper through all the years. She was the first president of the Ladies Aid Society, which position she held for three years and has shown interest in all the work of the church both temporal and spiritual. For the past 7 or 8 moths she has been in intense sufferer, but in it all has been patient, seldom uttering a word of complaint. Among her last utterances were expressions of praise to God, saying an hour before her death "Isn't it a blessed thing to have an assurance of heaven, bless His holy name." A faithful and affectionate wife, a tender and considerate mother, a kind thoughtful neighbor has gone to her eternal home.
