Lake Odessa Wave - Friday May 29, 1908

Mr. Wm. Robinson living north of town whose critical illness we mentioned 
recently, passed away Monday forenoon after a long and trying and painful 
sickness. The funeral was held Wednesday at the S. Berlin church conducted by 
the pastor, Rev. North. See obituary next week.
                                   OBITUARY
                              Friday June 5, 1908
                                WILLIAM ROBINSON
William Robinson was born at Mariposs, Victoria, county, Canada,March 31, 1835, 
and died at his old home in north Odessa May 25, 1908, 73 years, 1 month and 24 
days of age. He came to Michigan in 1864 and settled upon the farm where he 
lived until his death, living with his son George and family there in his 
declining years.He was married to Miss Grace Ann Moon in Canada aApril 12, 1858. 
To them eight children were born three girls and five boys the three boys only 
surviving the parents, viz, David of Spring Lake,N.J. and John and George here 
in north Odessa. Mrs.Robinson died two years ago.

Both Mr and Mrs.Robinson were of the stanch stalwart sort of people clearing up 
and making for them selves a comfortable home from the dense forests.They 
endeared themselves to a large circle of neighbors and friends and will long be 
remembered for their many excellent qualities.

to the choir and to all who showed us so many kindnesses during the long illness 
and death of our father.
