Services Wed. for Dorothy Robinson

Mrs.Dorothy I.Robinson, 63, of Lansing passed away late Sunday night at the 
National Health Enterprises Inc., Lansing, where she was a patient for a month.

She was born September 13, 1900 near Grand Rapids, daughter of Alfred and Belle 
(Aspey) Slater. She married Lancy Meyers November 17, 1927 and they resided on a 
farm in Sebewa Township, northeast of Lake Odessa and he passed away in April 
1964. She had employed by the A&P Tea Company for 15 years at both Lake Odessa 
and Lansing, as she moved to Lansing after his death.

Dorothy was a member of the Past Noble Grand Club of Lae Odessa, a former member 
of the local Refuse Rebekah lodge, the White Shrine of Ionia, the American 
Legion Auxiliary and World War I Auxiliary.

She married Leo B.Robinson of Lansing in January of 1966 who survives, also a 
daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Karabell) DeGood of Middleville; two grandchildren; three 
stepsons, Clair Robinson of Lexington, N.Carolina and Robert Robinson of 
Lansing; three step-grandchildren; four brothers, Allen and Simon Slater of 
Grand Rapids, Richard Slater of Middleville and Roger Slater of Cincinnati, Ohio 
and five sister-in-law, Mrs.Vera Slater, Mrs.Etta Slater and Mrs.Jennie Slater 
of Grand Rapids, Mrs.Lila Slater of Kent City and Mrs.Eva Follett of Lake 
Odessa.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1:3 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, 
Lake Odessa. Rev.Mark Headland of the Hastings Baptist church 
officiated.Graveside services and burial was at the Oak Grove cemetery at Grand 
Rapids at three o'clock.
