The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 26, 1956
Miss Jane Elizabeth Robinson, 81, died Sunday morning, March 25 at 10 o’clock 
at Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since Friday 
evening.  Born October 16, 1874 in Detroit, she was the daughter of Mr. and 
Ms. William J. Robinson and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal church of 
Ionia and was an honorably member of the Ladies’ Literary club of Saranac.  

Living in Saranac for the past 36 years, she is preceded in death by one 
sister and one brother,  Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Isabella Robinson of 
Lansing, Mrs. Harold Stark, Mrs. Margaret Stark and Mrs. Elva Watson of Ann 
Arbor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 27 at 3 o’clock at the 
Morris funeral home with the Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating and assisting him 
will be the Rev. Fr. Roger J. Bunday of Ionia.  Burial will be in Saranac 
cemetery.
