ROBINSON, MARY ELBERTA (SMITH) (MRS. GEORGE N.):
   LAKE ODESSA WAVE, MI, 4-21-1949, front page:  "Mrs. Mary E. Robinson, 70,
passed away early Wednesday morning at her home northeast of town after a long
period of ill health.
   She was born in Easton township, Ionia County on September 1, 1878 and had
resided in this community all her life.  She married George Robinson in 1898 at
the old South Berlin church and had spent their married life on the farm where
Mr. Robinson was born.  He died July 24, 1947.
   Mrs. Robinson was a member of Carr Wesleyan Methodist Church and was a very
active member and worker in the societies of the church.
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Iva Tanner of Ionia, Mrs. Ottolie Wiersma
and Mrs. Hazel Stauffer of Grand Rapids, three grandchildren and one great
grandchild.  She was the aunt of Dick Johnson.
   Mrs. Robinson reposes at the Pickens chapel until Thursday noon when taken to
the residence.
   Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery."
