Robinson, 72, died unexpectedly at his home east of the LeValley church Tuesday evening following a long illness. Funeral services will be in Lakeside cemetery. Mr. Robinson is survived by the following children: Clifford and Richard, Lansing; Dora and Dale and Donald, of Ann Arbor; and two brothers, David, of New Jersey, and George of Lake Odessa." IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, MICH., 11-8-1932, page 2: "Mortuary - John Alvin Robinson - Funeral services for John Alvin Robinson were conducted Friday afternoon at his home east of the LeValley church by Rev. J. M. Jensen, pastor or the LeValley church, the singing being given by Mrs. William Weisgerber and Mrs. Frank Backar. The floral offerings were profuse. The last rites were witnessed by many sorrowing friends and relatives. The bearers were Joseph Lawless, Arthur Gregory, Grant Keefer, Frank Perrett, Erwin Heater, and Bert Scheurer. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.
