The Ionia Daily Standard, Friday, July 7, 1899
Caleb Robinson, aged 65 years, died at the county infirmary on Thursday 
afternoon, and was buried in the farm cemetery this afternoon.  Robinson was 
one of the partially restored inmates at the Traverse City asylum who was 
transferred to the Ionia county poor farm about a year ago, in order to make 
room there for another and more recalcitrant subject from this county.  “He 
was a good and willing worker on the farm,” said Keeper Wilson.
