The Lowell Ledger, June 3, 1915


Ellen Isabelle English, daughter of Wooster and Polly English, was born in 
Trowbridge, Vermont, Nov. 6, 1833, and died May 27 at her home in Boston 
township, aged 81 years.  Funeral services were held at the home Saturday at 2 
p.m., burial in South Boston cemetery, Rev. I. T. Weldon officiating.

She came to Boston when two years of age and it remained her home until 
death.  She married Horace Robinson at the age of 19; and he preceded her to 
the grave May 17, 1892.

Mrs. Robinson was the last of a company of thirty who came from Vermont, and 
leaves only one niece in Rochester, N.Y., of immediate relatives.  She had 
been crippled for a number of years.
