Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Jun 1961

Funeral service was held Thursday afternoon for Matthew Roche, 91, who died
Monday evening following a lingering illness.  The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor
of First Christian church, officiated and interment was at Highland Park
cemetery.  Bearers were James Vincent, Royal Vincent, Robert Peterson, Charles
Reglin, Gene Horn and Ardene Oswald.

Out of town persons attending included Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Erickson and Mrs.
Jack Frey of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Roche of Kingsley, Mr. and Mrs.
Martin Carlsen and Mrs. Beverly Loper of Fenwick; John Vincent and Mrs. Al
Rademacher of St. Johns; Mr. and Mrs. Ormel Young and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hatt of
Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Ardene Oswald of Sidney, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Skinner of
Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Vincent of Grand Ledge, James Vincent of Ada, Vivian
Roche of Portsmouth, Va., Mr. and Mrs. John Jesko of Belding, and Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Peterson and family of Palo.
