Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jan 1943

Funeral services for John Rock, 70, who was found dead Thursday afternoon at his 
farm home in Orange township, were held Saturday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the 
Myers funeral home.  Rev. Fr. John S. Fons of SS. Peter and Paul church 
officiated and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Pallbearers were Alfred E. 
Lee, Dewey Randall, Roy Ferris, Leo Ferris, Ingraham Goodwin and Francis Pickens.
