Sentinel-Standard - Monday, May 5, 1975

Portland- Mrs. Julia M. Rocka, 80, of 530 Kearney, died at the Kyle convalescent 
home at Lake Odessa Monday.

Born at Stanton May 25, 1894, she was the daughter of Mr. and Ms. Sylvester Hissong

and a resident of the Portland area more than 50 years. Her husband John, died in 
1965.

Among her survivors are a son, Otis of Chicago, Ill; brother, Sylvester Hissong of 
Three Rivers; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Alexander of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Lueza Dockham of

Ionia and Mrs. Joseph Wallin of Portland, and Mrs. Agnes Hutchins of Caro.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Neller funeral home in Portland 
Rev. Harold Homer of the Portland United Methodist church will officiate and 
interment will be at the Portland cemetery.
