Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. April 11, 1980

HUBBARDSTON- Albert J. Rockey, 91, of rural Hubbardston died Thursday at Ionia 
Manor.

He was born Feb. 4, 1889 in Clinton County, the son of John and Anna (Hafner) 
Rockey. Mr. Rockey attended rural schools and farmed in the Hubbardston area 
all his working life.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Louise Riley of Hubbardston, and Mrs. Sylvester 
(Pauline) Blundey of Ionia and several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. John the Baptist 
Church in Hubbardston, with Father Paul Johnson of Carson City officiating. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

There will be a scriptural wake service Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Leddick 
Funeral Home. Friends and relatives may call at the home between 3-5 and 7-9.
