Lake Odessa- Francisco E. Rodriguez, 90 of Lake Odessa, died Sunday at the 
Thornapple Manor, Hastings.

He was born December 3, 1902, in Austin, Texas, the son of Luiz and Justa 
Esquivel Rodriguez. 
 
He attended school in Texas and was married to Perfecta Martinez on November 20, 
1924, in Austin, Texas. She preceded him in death February 24, 1954.

He moved to the lake Odessa area in April of 1948. He was employed at the Lake 
Odessa Canning Company for several years. He also worked part-time for the 
village of lake Odessa. He was a member of the St. Edward's Catholic Church.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters, Manuel, Sal, Francisco, Chris 
White, all of Lake Odessa, and Pat Arizola of San Antonio; 18 grandchildren; 12 
great grandchildren; two sisters, Dominga Rodriguez of Mexico and Pazquala 
Fabien of Austin.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. 

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 
Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Tom Buford officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

The Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
