Last Rites for Juanita Rodriguez
Mrs. Juanita S. "Janie" Rodriguez, 39, passed away Friday afternoon at the 
Osteopathic Hospital, Grand Rapids, where she had been a patient for several 
days.

She was born in Port Huron Oct.1,1930, the daughter of Domingo and Inez Silva, 
and had lived in Texas and Pontiac before moving to Lake Odessa in 1950.

She married Manuel Rodriguez Feb.26,1955 and had been a resident here all her 
married life.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of St.Edward's Church.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Michael Anthony; a daughter, Vicki Ann at 
home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Domingo Silva of Ionia, and four sisters, 
Mrs.Juan (Amelia)Baez of Grand Rapids. Mrs Lazaro (Hortancia) Gallardos of Lake 
Odessa. Mrs.Raul (Esther) Luna of Charlotte and Mrs.Bernardo (Victoria) Escodedo 
of Roswell, N.M.

Mrs.Rodriguez reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where the Rosary was recited 
Sunday evening at 7:30 and a Spanish Rosary at 7:30 Monday evening at the 
Chapel.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edwards Church. Rev. 
Raymond Moeggenberg Officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
