Hasting's Reminder Saturday - June 21, 2025

MANUEL RODRIGUEZ,  age 94, of Lake Odessa, MI passed away on Sunday June 1, 
2025.

Manny was born on December 24, 1930 in Austin, TX to Francisco & Perfecta 
(Martinez) Rodriguez. 

He proudly served in the U.S> Army during the Korean War stationed in Germany. 
Manny worked at Fisher BOo

He was a devoted member of St. Edwards Catholic Church,Lakewood area Lions Club 
& Knights of Columbus, serving in many roles.

Manny was a loving family man, raising seven children & influenced many, many 
grandchildren.

He will be lovingly missed by his children, Michael (Judy) Rodriguez, Vicki 
Rodriguez, Becky Gutierrez, Michael (Chris) Gutierrez, Kathi Rodriguez, Ramona 
Rodriguez, seven stepchildren; many grandchildren & great grand-children; 
siblings, Seledonio (Sofia)Rodriguez; Francisco (Nancy) Rodriguez; along with 
many nieces & nephews.

Preceding Manny in death were his parents; wives, Juanita Silva, Janie Vargas & 
Betty Quillan; son Danny Gutierrez; sisters, Christina White & Petra Arizlo, & 
numerous in-laws.

A Memorial Mass was held at St.Edwards Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 10, 
2025. Manny was laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery immediately following next to 
Juanita.

Donations in Manny's name can be given to St.Edwards Catholic Church.
