Mrs. Joseph Roe Dead.

Gertrude ______ of the late Joseph Roe died at the home of her son Frank in 
this village of dropsy on the _______ _________ aged 75 years.

Gertrude A. Butler was born in Ren____ County, N.Y. in 1819 and was married to 
the late Joseph Rowe at home in Mich. in 1842. They came to and settled at 
Portland a half a century ______ years ago last New Year’s Day. Mr. Roe died 
fourteen years ago.

Deceased was the mother of seven children but three of whom are living, William 
of Chicago, Frank of Portland and Mrs. H.S. Straight of Sebewa.
