The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 11, 1918


The remains of George Roe, who died in Rockford, Ill., were brought here some 
time Saturday.  They will be taken direct to Highland Park for interment, where 
they will be placed in the Bigelow lot.  Geo. Roe is a brother to Mrs. Anna 
Bigelow, East Washington Street.

Subsequent Publication, date unknown:

The funeral service for Geo. Roe was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. 
Anna Bigelow, East Washington street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. R. J. 
Slee officiated.  The pall bearers were G. F Faude, Geo. F. Brown, Arthur C. 
Colvin and Allen Gilbert.  Interment was at Highland Park cemetery.
