Funeral services for Henry Elmer Rogers, 70, of Lyons who died Wednesday, December
19, at Carson City hospital will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons Methodist
church with the Rev. Williams Reynders officiating.  Mr. Rogers was born in
Cleveland, Ohio, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rogers.  He was married July 1, 1914 to
Grace Edwards who died July 5, 1955.

Mr. Rogers had been employed 26 years at the Olds Company in Lansing before
retiring.  He had lived in Lyons about 20 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Laura VanDynem of Lyons and Mrs. Dorothy Bates
of Grand Ledge, nine sons, Francis of Portland, Harold and Raymond of Ionia, Kendall
of Muir, Harry, Lyle, Clyde, John and Jack all of Lyons, 23 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Estep funeral home of Muir is in charge of arrangements and burial will be in
Oakwood cemetery, Grand Ledge.
