Ionia County News – Thursday, 14 February 1935

This community was saddened Thursday by the death of Ross Rogers, oldest son 
of John Rogers.  Ross, whose home was at Cedar Springs, was only ill a short 
time, passing away at Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids, after an operation.  
He leaves his wife and two small children, two daughters by a former marriage, 
his father, John Rogers, and three brothers, Jean of Jackson, Lee of Rogers 
City and Lynn of Detroit; one half-brother, Albert, at home.  Funeral services 
were held at Cedar Springs Saturday afternoon with burial in Woodard Lake 
Cemetery.
