Ionia County News, 30 Apr 1942

Funeral services for Jesse L. Rogers, 92, who died Friday evening, April 24, were 
held Sunday afternoon.  Burial was in Saranac cemetery with Masonic rites.  Rev. 
F. G. Dunbar of the Ionia Methodist church officiated and pall bearers were Edwin 
Nash, Austin Rosenberger, Jay Swiger, R. W. Lenhard and Flint Phillips.

Mr. Rogers had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Wesley Grieves, the past five 
years.  Other relatives are five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
