Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Apr 2002

Lester “Jack” Rogers, 62, of Ionia passed away April 19, 2002 in Ionia.  He was 
born May 20, 1939 in Portland, the son of Henry and Grace (Edwards) Rogers.

He is survived by one son, Brian Rogers of Muir; one daughter, Melissa Rogers 
of Ionia; one step-daughter, Michelle (Greg) Saurbek of Muir; brothers, Harry 
(Velma) Rogers of West Branch, Clyde (Bev) Rogers of Lyons, Lyle (Kathleen) 
Rogers of Lyons and Kendall (Virginia) Rogers of Muir; sister, Laura Van Dyne 
of Lyons; and four grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.  Private grave side services will be held at a later 
date.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
