LAKE ODESSA- Lorraine H. Rogers, 70, of Hager Road, Woodland, died Tuesday in 
Pennock Hospital, Hastings. 

Born May 8, 1917, in Sebewa Township, she was the daughter of Samuel and Jennie 
Knoll Leak. She attended Sebewa and Lake Odessa schools.

She was married to Ray Rogers Nov. 2, 1935. She taught at EBI in Hastings, and 
was a member of the Woodbury United Brethren Church, and the church missionary 
and hobby groups. 

Surviving are her husband; a son, Bruce, of Middleville; a daughter, Marian 
Hamilton of Lake Odessa; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two 
sisters, Anna Belle Vojeck of Woodland and Glada Brock of Arizona.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, 
Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Duane Walter officiating. Burial will be in Woodland 
Memorial Park.

A memorial has been established for Lake Odessa Ambulance.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 
from 2 to 4 p.m. and   7 to 9 p.m.
