Velma C. Rogers, of Lyons, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Gibbs 
Adult Foster Care, Church Street, in Hubbardston.  She was born Jan. 18, 1920, 
to Lawrence and Anna (Gaedert) Zimmer. 

Velma married Harry E. Rogers on May 30, 1940, in Portland, and retired from 
the Chrysler Corp in 1979. 

Surviving are three sons, Bud (Margaret) Rogers of Ionia, William (Janice) 
Rogers of Lyons, and Terry (Joyce) Rogers of Gladwin; 10 grandchildren; 19 
great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine 
Zimmerman of Muir.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and 
daughter, Patricia; one brother and four sisters. 

At Mrs. Roger's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no 
visitation or service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, 
Ionia.
