MILLIE A. ROGERS
PORTLAND - Mrs. Millie A. Rogers, 86, of route 1, Portland, died Thursday morning at
Kent Community hospital in Grand Rapids.

She was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, October 18, 1889, the daughter of Robert
and Lucinda Jones Shaw.

Her husband, Warren Rogers, died in 1967.

She was a member of the Portland United methodist church and the WSCA of the church
as well as the Women's club of Orange.

Among her survivors are two sons, Charles of Coopersville and Donald of Portland;
seven grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lauretta Gragg and Mrs.
Grace Ackerson of Sunfield.

Services will be Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Neller funeral home at Portland.  Rev.
Harold Homer will officiate and interment  will be at the Portland cemetery.
