The funeral was attended yesterday afternoon from his late residence. He was an exemplary member of the Church of Christ here, and not enough can be said in his praise. He was a member of the G.A.R, which order attended in a body, and had the funeral in charge. He leaves a wife and two daughters, Mrs. S.E. Mook of North Plains, and Mrs. T.E. Jackson of this place. He will be greatly missed in all of the walks of life, and the whole community join in sympathy for those that are left. He was laid to rest in Oakwood cemetery of this place.
