Sentinel-Std. - Thursday - Feb. 12, 1948

Patrick Rogers, 89 of Carson City died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John 
Burke of Hubbardston, where he and his wife has been visiting for the past ten 
days.

He was born in March, 1858, near Hubbardston and has lived near Carson City 
where he is owner of a large farm for all his married life.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. Burke of Hubbardston and Mrs. Al 
Merkle, Mrs. Martha Shively and Mrs. Margaret Rogers of Lansing; two sons, 
Patrick Rogers, Jr. of Detroit and Thomas Rogers of Carson City; six 
grandchildren; and several nieces including Mrs. Ammon Lindley and Mrs. Frank 
Wieczorek of Ionia.

His services will be held at 10 a.m. from St. John the Baptist church in 
Hubbardston with interment in St. John's cemetery in Hubbardston.
