Alicia, 65, of St. Joseph Order, died suddenly January 15, at St. Joseph hospital in Flint. She was a sister of Mrs. Ammon Lindley of Ionia. Sister Alicia was born at Hubbardston December 30, 1898 and entered the Sisters of St. Joseph Order September 8, 1928. She was mistress of postulates and taught at St. Phillip Neri, St. James, St. David, St. Bernard and St. Anne schools, all of Detroit, St. Augustin of Kalamazoo and at the time of her death was teaching mathematics at St. John Dianney high school in Flint. Besides her sister, Mrs. Lindley, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. the body is at Dodds Dumaniois funeral home in Flint. Funeral Mass will be sung at 8 a.m. Friday at St. John Dianney church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry Mayotte officiating. Service will also be held at 10 a.m. at Holy Family chapel in Kalamazoo and burial will be at Kalamazoo Gate of Heaven cemetery.
