Wave-Times Fri.September 30, 1910 OBITUARY MRS. WILLIAM ROGERS Charlotte Musgrove was born July 13, 1842, in Ohio, and died Sept.28, 1910, being sixty-eight years, two months, and seven days old. She was married to Henry Plant in 1858. To this union were born three children, one dying in infancy and one in later life, and one Mrs.Mary Huntman, now living in California. The family moved to Michigan in 1860 and located in Orange, where Mr.Plant died in 1861. In 1867 she was married to Wm.Rogers of Odessa and to them was born one child, Bert F.Rogers of Odessa. The deceased was converted in 1876 being a faithful Christian until her heavenly father called her home to enjoy the city best prepared for those that do the Master's will. She was an honored member of the W.C.T.U. Methodist church of Lake Odessa, being a faithful member of the Sunday school. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist but on organization of that church being near she and her husband were nearly always seen in their pew at the M.E. church, where she will be greatly missed. She was a loyal supporter and a faithful worker in her Christian faith. She leaves to mourn their lose a husband as loyal and devoted as her self, a daughter above mentioned, a son Burt of Odessa and six grandchildren, besides a sister Mrs.Henry Anway of Sturgis, and two brothers, Thomas Musgrove of Canada and Robert Musgrove of Odessa and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral which was held at the residence was largely attended by old time neigbors and many friends, many having to remain in the yard although the house was well arranged to accommodate a large number. Rev. Abraham Mourer and A.T. Luther conducted the service. The singing was done by Mrs.A.J.Dann and Mrs.Fanny Tucker with Mrs. A.T. Luther as organist. The remains were placed in Lakeside cemetery. CARD OF THANKS We wish hereby to extend our sincere thanks to those friend who so kindly assisted during the brief illness and at the time of the death and burial of our beloved wife and mother, and especially to the W.C.T.U. and other friends who brought flowers, and also to thank the singers for their aid.
