Francis J. (Mike) Rogers, 73, of 419 Lookingglass Avenue, Portland, died July 
9 at a Lansing hospital.  He was born January 23, 1918 in Grand Ledge, the son 
of Henry and Grace Edwards Rogers.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during 
World War II and a member of VFW Post 4090.

Surviving are two sons, Larry and Gale Rogers, both of Portland; three 
daughters, Linda Lehman, Donna Peake and Pam Fedewa, all of Portland; 12 
grandchildren; one great grandchild; seven brothers, Harry of Gladwin, Harold 
of Ionia, Clyde, Lyle and John of Lyons, Kendall of Muir and Lester of 
Riverdale; and two sisters, Dorothy Bates of Grand Ledge and Laura Van Dyne of 
Lyons

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. from Neller Funeral Home, with the Rev. 
Julian Reginato officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.  
Pallbearers will be Mark Lehman, Glenn Kendall, Tony Goodrich, Mike Lehman, 
Randy and Pat Rogers, and Travis Peake.  The family will be at the funeral 
home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
