He was born April 12, 1969 in Ionia, the son of Buster and Lisa Maddox Rogers. He attended Ionia High School. He was an employee of ATRON of Saranac. He is survived by his parents; his brother Brian of Hubbardston; two sisters; Michelle Saurebek and Melissa Smith of Ionia; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Maddox of Lyons. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with the Rev. Paul Carmichael officiating. A memorial has been established for AWANA Youth Club of Lyons Baptist Church in care of the funeral home. Also from the Ionia Sentinel-Standard, December 23, 1991: A Lyons man died when a pickup truck struck him in Ronald Township at 5:05 a.m. Saturday. Jack S. Rogers, 22, died after being impaled on the snowplow attachment on the front of a truck owned by William Haney of Grand Ledge, according to information released by the Ionia Michigan State Police post. The Haney vehicle was reportedly northbound on M-66 when it struck Rogers at the intersection of M-66 and Woods Road. The incident is still under investigation.
