The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 23, 1938
Frank Rohler, a life-long resident of Muir, died at his home Friday morning, 
December 23, at the age of 81, following poor health for several weeks.  He 
had celebrated his 81st birthday December 22, the day before his death.  
Rohler, an acquaintance of many Ionia county residents, attended the Muir 
schools.  His wife, the former Emma Snyder, died several years ago.  There are 
no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, December 26, at SS Peter 
and Paul church, Ionia at 9 o’clock with Rev. Fr. Henry Simon officiating.  
Prayer services will be held from the Stebbins funeral home, 530 West Main 
street at 8:30 o’clock Monday morning,  Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.
