Joyce Roland, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002
in Lyons.  She was born Nov. 16, 1931 in Lyons Township, the daughter of
Lawrence and Hazel (Lapo) Albright.  She married Ron Roland Sept. 21, 1951 in
Lyons.  Joyce was a member of Grove Bible Church in St. Johns.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Roland of Lyons; mother, Marie Albright of
Lyons; sons, Chris (Robin) Roland of Pewamo, Brent (Jan) Roland of North
Carolina and Jeffrey Roland of Grand Rapids; brothers, Robert (Connie) Albright
of Lowell and Doug (Yvonne) Albright of Sunfield; brother-in-law, Harwood Roland
of Ann Arbor; sister-in-law, Naomi (Bernard) Ensley of Sand Lake; and
grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Brooke and Cameron.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday at Lyons Baptist Church with
Rev. Robert Prange and Rev. Larry Smith officiating.  Interment Lyons Cemetery.
 Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday
at Lake Funeral Home Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.  Anyone wishing may make a
memorial contribution to Grove Bible Church or Hospice of Carson City.
