RUTH E.RALOFF

ADRIAN-Ruth E.Raloff, 77, died at her home in Adrian April 7.

She was born Jan. 14, 1914 in Clarksville, the daughter of Lewis James and 
Etiole Cara Bebee Jackson.

She was graduated from Clarksville High School and received her bachelor of 
Education  degree from Adrian college in 1958. She taught school at Munith 
Elementary and Cadmu Schools.She was a member of the First United Methodist 
Church, Get Acquainted Class and Lydia Circle, the Neighborhood Garden Club and 
the Order of the Eastern Star, in Adrian.  

She married the rev. Albert F. Raloff Aug. 6, 1933, in Ionia.

He preceded her in death July 25, 1984.

She and her husband served in many churches throughout Michigan, including 
Adrian.

She is survived by one son, James and one daughter, Janet Prater, both of Adrian 
nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren three sisters, Thelma 
Jackson of Ionia, Glenna Haskins of Lake Odessa, Esther Alspaugh of Wacousta; 
two brothers, Claude and Clifford Jackson, both of Saranac.

She was preceded in death her daughter Juanita Arlene, her brother Lewis, and 
her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday at the Braun Funeral Home in Adrian, with 
the Rev. Robert Boley officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.
