The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 5, 1981


Mrs. Deltina Ronan, 88, of Buffalo, N.Y., died late Friday evening at Sheen 
Memorial Hospital in Buffalo.  She was born in Whitehead, Nova Scotia, Dec. 3, 
1893.

She moved to Ionia in 1916 with her husband, Arthur Ronan, and lived here until 
1958.  Her husband preceded her in death.  

She is survived by one son, Harry Ronan, of Buffalo, N.Y., with whom she had 
made her home since leaving Ionia; and one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Georgia) 
Weyland, of West Hartford, Conn.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home with the Rev. 
Samuel W. Morrison of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greenville officiating.  
Intombment will be in Highland Park Mausoleum.  Visitation will be Thursday 
from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
