The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 20, 1955

Mrs. Leon Roose, 72, died at her home on Lakeview Drive early Wednesday 
morning after a long illness.  

She reposes at the Pickens funeral chapel.  Rosary will be recited at the 
chapel Friday evening at 8 o’clock.  Funeral services will be requiem high 
mass at St. Edward’s church Saturday morning at 9 o’clock with the Rev. Fr. 
Stephen Kolenic officiating.
