Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Nov. 25, 1946


Austin L. Root, 83, formerly of Lake Odessa died Friday at his home in Irving 
Township, Barry County.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Martin of Ionia; two sons, William of 
Middleville and Charles of Clare; seven grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Pickens funeral chapel, in 
Lake Odessa with interment at Lakeside cemetery.
