DENNIS L. ROOT
PORTLAND - Dennis L.Root, 16, of 4855 W. Grand River, Portland, died Tuesday in
Lansing Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a Friday auto accident in Portland.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1964, in Lakeview, the son of Robert and Valanna (Wandel)
Root. He was in the 10th grade at Portland High School.

Survivors include sisters, Marlene, of Lansing and Debra K., of Portland;
grandparents, Mr and Mrs. John A Wandel of Lakevew; a grandmother, Violet Ondrus of Carson City; and
a great-grandmother, Ethel Wandel of Lakeview.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Neller Funeral home in Portland, with the
Pastor Ronald Sparks officiating.

Burial will be in Cato Cemetery in Lakeview.

memorials may be left at the Funeral home in memory of Dennis Root.
