Hasting's Reminder - Sat. September 28, 2024

Emily A., Amalia and Shiloh Root, of Lake Odessa,MI unexpectedly went to be with 
the Lord on Thursday Sept. 26, 2024.

Emily was born on December 27, 1988 in Grand Rapids to Joane Devon and Ron 
Devon.Amalia was born to Emily and Kyle on July 14, 2018. Shiloh was born to 
Emily and Kyle on March 15, 2023.

Emily was devoted mother of her three beautiful daughters. She enjoyed being 
outdoors in her garden, hunting for mushrooms, or just being outside.Emily 
especially enjoyed her country lifestyle with her 35 chicken and ducks. She was 
very crafty making many handmade gifts>Emily was a very faithful person and 
attended Outreach Christian Church.

Amalia, was a vivacious first grader and very smart for her age. Her tender 
heart and actions will be missed by all who knew her personally. When Shiloh 
made her a big sister, she took to her duties as second mom very lovingly. 
Amalia was very active in her church with Vacation Bible School and sang her 
heart out every service.

Shiloh was a very curious and bright little girl who's life just begun. She 
enjoyed golf cart rides and picking wildflowers, running around and being 
outside just like her mom.

Left to miss these beautiful girls are;  and father, Kyle Root; daughter/sister, 
Kylie Root; parents/grandparents, Curt (Connie) Root, Karen (Don) Hill, Ron 
(Tiffany)Devon, Joane Devon; Emily's siblings, Ashley (Josh) Pettovello, Zach 
(Meraya) Devon; Kyle's sibling, Zach (Kristen)Pennock, Kaitlin Pennock, Caleb 
Hill; and many aunts,uncles,nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Emily, Amalia and Shiloh will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, 
OCt.5,2024 with visitation beginning at 12 p.m at Lakewood High School 
Gymnasium,7224 Velte Rd, Lake Odessa, 48849. Burial will take place at Lakeside 
Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
