Lyle Rork passed away Sunday September 12 at Traverse City Hospital where he 
had been ill for sometime. He was born in Palo, the youngest son of Edward and 
Alma Rork. He spent his boyhood days here. Later he worked as an accountant 
for a Greenville firm for a number of years. The funeral was at the Boynton 
funeral home in Ionia Wednesday after at 2 o'clock. The Rev. W.W. Pixley 
officiated. Among pallbeareres were Frank VanVleck of Long Lake and Ronald 
Rork of Butternut. Interment was in Palo cemetery.
