Lyons Herald, 17 Jun 1909

Carrie M. Sherwood was born October 21, 1859, at Rochester, N.Y., and died June 
7, 1909.  She came to Lyons in September, 1866, and was married to James H. 
Rose October 31, 1878.  In 1893 she moved to Rives Junction.  She leaves to 
mourn her departure her husband, two sons, Gilbert and Carl J. and a daughter 
Nina Belle, also her parents Mr. and Mrs. N.B. Sherwood and two brothers 
Winfield H. and Leon D.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Rives June 10, conducted by 
Rev. W.T. Woodhouse of Jackson and Rev. Severant of Rives.  The floral 
offerings were many and beautiful.
