Rose, 69, of 409 West Bridge street, Lyons, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Lyons Baptist church. The Rev. Elmer Ubbink will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Maurice Horn. Burial will be at East Plains cemetery. The body is at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir. Mrs. Rose died at 7:45 a.m. Friday at Ferguson-Droste hospital in Grand Rapids where she had been a patient three weeks. She had been in ill health two and one-half years. She was born February 5, 1891 in Pewamo, the daughter of Alfred A. and Sarah Patterson Benjamin. She was married to George Rose March 5, 1914 in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived several years in Ohio, Detroit and rural Ionia before moving to Lyons in 1947. Mrs. Rose was affiliated with the United Brethren church of Matherton. Surviving besides her husband, George, are a brother, Frederick Benjamin of Lyons, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Robertson and Mrs. Martha Kemp of Hubbardston. A sister, Mrs. Pearl Davis, preceded her in death in 1947.
